i’ll only comment on matches that i’ve watched only..

so, 1st match :  swiss-czech [0-1]
it wasn’t the best opening but swiss made a lot of chances and it just wasn’t their luck to find a great finishing.
while czech was finding their way through, a goal is enough for the 1st game..

2nd match : german-poland [2-0]
that was awesome!!great play by the german’s except ballack seems "not on the ground" [if u know what  i mean]..while podolski scored against his "country", klose hasn’t find his touch yet but he did set up a couple of set pieces.
u’ve to give a big applaud for lehmann..despite his age and lack of performance with arsenal+he’s "retired" from arsenal, atleast he did a great save to keep german on the right track.

3rd match : holland-italy [3-0]
marvelous game shown by both teams!
although the 1st goal by v.nistelrooy a little bit controversial, but the 2nd [snidjer] and 3rd [v.bronchorst] goal was well deserved by the oranje..i have to admit that the netherland do have a great counter attack..so, other teams, better watch out with their counter attack.
for the italians..maybe they got carried away by their "world title" but i think they should drop it already.
this euro’08 certainly open up a great shots from most of the countries as new faces shown up nowadays..

move on to match 4 : czech-portugal [1-3]
hmm..1st goal by deco was quality football.cech was crawling and tried his best to stop deco but the blood of brazilian scored the 1st goal for his new country, portugal.
and how czech coming alive after that was impressive.a goal by sionko.
it just ashamed that czech didn’t have the killing finishing by their strikers or any other players.if u watched properly, it seems that only certain players such as baros, palis and sionko who made a work at up the field..
the 2nd half of the game was disappointed by the czech’s and i think bruckner did  a bad decision ’cause they look like rather to get a draw than a win.
but..u know..its portugal..they not going to rest peace with a draw..
so, a counter attack+quality football+great set piece=ronaldo’s goal.
3rd goal was "unselfish ronaldo" who passed the ball tp quoresmo and nothing more can peter cech do.
i believe czech could have score another goal but again they are having the same problem as switzerland= lack of finishing by the striker..

to conclude, the games were so far so good.
the refs tried their best to make the game played are fair-play.
in football, they must a winner and a loser.
at the peak of time, a draw means u lose..
so, a word of advise for tonite..

"it’s not over ’til the whistle is blown"
